Senior Food Giveaway Tomorrow - Register by TODAY at 2:00 PM

Dear Neighbor,

Supporting the health, dignity, and well-being of our senior residents is one of my highest priorities. In that spirit, I am pleased to share information about an upcoming Senior Food Giveaway, made possible in partnership with Southside Market, Henry McGee, and Leaks & Sons Funeral Home.

This initiative will provide food assistance through a two-day distribution, offering both an in-person option and a delivery option to best meet the needs of our seniors.

In-Person Distribution

Saturday, December 20

2:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Southside Market & Café Co-op

Delivery Distribution

Tuesday, December 23

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Registration is required for all participants.

Seniors wishing to participate must call or text 708-793-7402 to register.

The registration deadline is Friday, December 19th at 2:00 PM.

When registering, seniors should indicate whether they prefer the in-person pickup or delivery option. For those selecting delivery, additional details will be provided by our team.

Eligibility: Seniors residing in the 6th Ward

This effort reflects our continued commitment to ensuring that seniors in the 6th Ward have access to essential resources, particularly during the holiday season. I encourage families, caregivers, and neighbors to share this information with any senior who may benefit.
