Art of Starting Over: What Have You Been Praying For?

In 2013 I wrote a book called 10-Prosperity Prayers for creating more power, peace, and pleasure in your life. It was supposed to accompany my book The Art of Starting Over. I didn’t even remember writing it until I saw the cover the other day. This was the cover I had designed for the book. 

However, I never publish it, for whatever reason. 

Who knows why I didn't. If I don’t remember writing it, I certainly don’t remember why I didn’t publish it. This month, I was brought back to it and though I’m not planning to publish it as an ebook, I can still publish it as a blog series here for you. So this prayer I am giving you should take you into the new year. 

These prayers, I’ve been sharing, work. But there’s something I need to share with you so that you get what you want out of life. I mean everything, not just the things on your Christmas list. I mean wealth in all of its forms. But before you can pray for money, you first have to be incredibly thankful for what you have already. 

The Universe loves gratitude. It’s how it knows you want more. So start with this appreciation prayer I wrote for you (and I). Then next year we can all live the life we deserve and desire. 

Let’s Pray!

This is my appreciation prayer. I thank God for all blessings visible and invisible. My health is improving everyday. I do what it takes to stay healthy. Thank you for strengthening my will power and my why power. 

I am grateful for the healthy, happy relationships that you have brought me. I know that they will grow and last for as long as I need them. I am thankful for the life partner that you have prepared for me. I smile every time I think about us. I ask that you tighten our relationship and bring us closer so that we can be greater blessings to each other. 

I also thank you God for my career. What a blessing it is to get paid for being me, authentically. I am enthusiastic about my goals and I get even more delighted when I think about every milestone along the way. Let me also be thankful for the help I received from family, friends, colleagues, my partner, and even strangers. I give the most thanks for the blessings I didn’t even know I received. For the things that happened on my behalf while I wasn’t looking.  

Everything I do this year is on purpose. I am positive that I am always in the right places, at the right time, doing the right thing to fulfill my purpose. My actions are aligned with that purpose and I shift back to my path any time I stray. What an honor it is to be chosen as the one to live this incredible life. I am saved from any seeming difficulty, because I listen and I am obedient.

I am honored to be able to awaken whenever I want to and to have full autonomy over my schedule. I promise to do my best at all times; I do not take my duties lightly. I put every effort in performing all my tasks with excellence. I give thanks to you for healing my heart and mind and for putting me at peace. Now that I know the way, I will go the way and show the way to your people, God. Thank you for using me and my prosperous life as an example.

I appreciate you for forgiving my mistakes and allowing me to start over. I transition through life with grace and ease because of the confidence you have given me. I know that all things happen the way they are supposed to and I welcome all that is to come.

I pray that I stay on the right path and use my energy properly. I am humbled by the invitation to follow you and I ask that you keep that invitation open to me so that we can continue our relationship. There are so many great things to come and any fear or anxiety I had about them has subsided. Tell me, who do I fear if God is on my side and his army of angels is behind me? 

I am calm and clear on my intensions, my goals and my responsibilities. 

There is no stopping me because I have divine favor that will produce great victories and overwhelming increase. Favor like a freight train. I say thank you in advance for those victories and I promise to share my blessing, my knowledge and my love with those around me. My cup runs over and I give from my overflow. 

I have faith in the God power inside of me and the Universal laws that govern this world. I am in covenant and agreement with God and these Universal laws. Everything I need I have inside of me already and that’s why I am completely at peace. 

I am at peace. Thanks, God. And so it is! It is so!
