The Black Star Project partners with many organizations who hosts a variety of community forums and workshops. The goal of special events is to aid under-resourced communities in areas of education, housing, violence prevention, recidivism and other alternatives to mass incarceration.

Juneteenth Celebration
On the corner of 35th and King Drive (aka Phillip Jackson Parkway). Expecting over 30 youth vendors to participate in the day from 11am until 5pm. Also partnering with Illinois Fatherhood Initiative https://www.4dads.org to honor community dads!
