Mass Male Graduation

The Black Star Project’s Mass Male Graduation Ceremony, a powerful and inspiring event celebrating boys and men graduating from Pre-K through Ph.D., will be held at Grant Memorial Church, 4017 S. Next Saturday and will take place at Absolutely Anything Essential Gift Shop, 3521 S. King Drive from 10a-3p. The Black Star Project is co-sponsoring this event with Terry Bishop of WVON Radio.

Juneteenth Celebration

On the corner of 35th and King Drive (aka Phillip Jackson Parkway).  Expecting over 30 youth vendors to participate in the day from 11am until 5pm. Also partnering with Illinois Fatherhood Initiative https://www.4dads.org to honor community dads!
